Immediately recognizable in famous black and white photos of the first astronauts on the moon, the Lunar Excursion Module made it possible for astronauts to safely land on, study, and leave the moon.
Indeed, the life saving benefits of the LEM were best displayed not on the moon, but in space during the Apollo 13 mission. Before reaching the moon, an oxygen tank explosion left the CSM damaged. The crew was able to use the LEM’s power, air, and food until they returned to Earth safely.
These beautiful 5"x7" giclee prints are printed with Epson ultrachrome HD inks on cotton rag watercolor paper. Each print is hand signed and numbered in an edition of 50 pieces, and shipped in a padded mailer with cardboard insert.
